Introduction to Cruising - 1 day
Non members $225/ Members $200

An introduction designed to acquaint the student with all aspects of sailing a cruising boat, this is a non certificate course.  All participants will help with all aspects of sailing and motoring the sloop rigged cruising boat.

US Sailing Basic Cruising Course and Certification - 3 days
 Non-members: $625 / Members: $525

* A prerequisite is a Basic Keelboat Certification.
This course will cover all concepts of sailing as well as basic boat systems, maneuvering under power, weather awareness, safety aspects and preparation, chart reading, navigation, and more. Most of the course will be on the boat with the third day reserved for a practical skills test and a written test.

US Sailing Bareboat Cruising Course and Certification - 4 days
Non-members: $825 / Members: $725

*A Basic Cruising Certification is a prerequisite.
The course will review basic cruising and considers planning an extended cruise and provisioning, power under difficult and emergency situations, anchoring for the night, advanced sail handling and trim, dingy handling, and more. All of this course will be onboard and some may be overnight.

This is great time of year to sail here on the Biscayne Bay.  But all of these courses will also be offered in the future to fit your schedule. You can pick a date and we will try to accommodate you.
